PELVIS has always been a fan of Oceansize. You should be too.

PELVIS has been inspired by the Stone Roses’ reformation to listen to his old SRs back catalogue. PELVIS actually liked The Second Coming. Lotsa solos.

Seeing all the news about riots and protests today, PELVIS is reminded of this video, which was one of the Style Council’s best songs. People forget that Paul Weller thought he was quite a hipster back in the day.

‘Governments crack and systems fall, but unity is powerful’. Yeah.

Here’s the Half Rabbits in the NME giving an interview and live performance of Gasoline. They’re promoting the excellent Oxjam Oxford Takeover, which they’re co-headlining on Saturday 22 October. All the details and tickets here

The Half Rabbits have two songs in this excellent film (1,2,3,4) about being in a band. PELVIS can certainly empathise with the characters. PELVIS thinks you should watch this movie.

PELVIS is having a retrospective today, so is enjoying Vanished by Crystal Castles. PELVIS saw CCs at Reading Festival this year and they were marvellous.

PELVIS recently saw Middle Class Rut supporting someone somewhere. MCR were so immense that PELVIS cannot remember who the headline band were, or even which city it was in. Probably Oxford or London. Immense.

PELVIS enjoyed the Half Rabbits so much at Upstairs Oxford in August that PELVIS is very much looking forward to tonight’s show. Here’s a lovely video of PELVIS mates Grundle Bay Riots.

Unlike these guys PELVIS could easily play Tupenny Nudger by Lafaro.

PELVIS will be seeing Lafaro in a couple of weeks. The last time PELVIS saw Lafaro, Lafaro referred to PELVIS and his friends as ‘fookin Camden dandies’, which PELVIS thought was funny.

PELVIS has been listening to more Johnny Cash. PELVIS is heartbroken by Hurt. PELVIS wishes he will be this cool when he’s a million years old like Johnny.
